To all of Julie's loving children & grandchildren...reading Julie's obituary made me tear up again as it makes her loss seem so real. It is still difficult to believe she is gone, but I'm comforted with the belief that she is now with God and her beloved and crazy Ryals' family! Julie took us in and made us feel like part of that family. She was, indeed, a crafty & creative lady...always giving to others to make them feel special. I know, I couldn't believe it when she came into the SUSD Business Office bearing a beautiful Barbie doll birthday cake for me...it was one of the most thoughtful things anyone had ever done for me and it meant so much! It was almost a crime to cut into it...but we somehow managed.
And don't get me started on Julie's laugh...she had the greatest full, happy laugh around which was quite contagious! While at her Aunt Julia's house with Martha & Julie in Texas...their stories had me laughing so hard that I thought I might wet my pants...seems to me one of their stories was about perfume in a store and one of them laughing so hard, they did have an "accident"! They were all a hoot together...WOW...what a treat to be around them. That trip was when I actually discovered her name wasn't Julie, or Judy K, but actually Julia, after her Aunt Julia, who was also very creative.
Julie, Judy K, Julia will always be in our hearts & best memories of all our great times together will remain and make us laugh for as long as we are here on earth...Julie & those memories will be treasured forever. Our dear friend will be seriously missed...we wish her much deserved peace and happiness in her new home.
