Elaine, we are glad we had the opportunity to spend a little time with Dan, and are very sorry there won't be more opportunities. With deepest sympathy for your loss, and hope that wonderful memories will help your family to heal.

Dan hired me as an Executive Assistant. I learned a lot from him. Dan was the best boss, a mentor, and true friend. We shared our migraines and Coca~Cola. He had a distinct laugh, a photographic memory, and was great with people. Dan gave me the nickname "The Commander", and called me the "Texas Tornado". Our phrase was "Ready, Fire, Aim!"
