Obituary of Charles Candeladio Arriaga
Charles C. Arriaga, 85, passed peacefully on May 29 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 2, 1935 in Cottonwood, AZ and grew up in Jerome AZ. He was one of eleven children. Charles proudly served his country in the Army as a Paratrooper, with the 82nd Airborne, from 1957-1960. After the Army he became a heavy equipment operator for Magma Copper Company in San Manuel, AZ, where he retired after 32 years. Charles lived a full life. You heard him say quite often “Life is good.” BUT there was nothing that made him prouder than his 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He always said “He had the BEST!” Charles is survived by his children, Carlos C. Arriaga (Dani), Reyes Rivera (Ruben), Daniel Arriaga & Margaret Fenstermacher (James) Grandchildren- Brett Charles Arriaga, Cameron Christopher Arriaga, Charles James Fenstermacher & Maria Reyes Fenstermacher, Great granddaughter Salem Reign Siblings -Brother Juan Arriaga (Joan) & Sister Virginia Casillas (Felix)
Mass will be recited at St. Odilia Catholic Church, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Noon with a rosary prior at 11:30am.
