Obituary of Lena Montesano

Lena Romagnolo Montesano, age 94, passed away on March 21st, 2020 of natural causes. Lena was born in Chicago, Ill., on September 1st, 1925 and grew up in the Pullman District, an Italian community on the south side. In 1960 she moved with her beloved husband Michael and 4 young children to Phoenix, Arizona. There she was a dedicated homemaker and loving wife and mother. Later she became a grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved us all deeply and it brought her great joy throughout her life. She is survived by her four children, Mark and Debbie, Daniel and Anna, Paul and Angela, Jean and Jim and nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She will forever be in our hearts and minds. We LOVE you.
