Jean Ann was a mentor and good friend. When I was young and just out of high school I worked in her dietitian's office as a summer youth worker and learned what a dietitian does. She encouraged me to become a dietitian and to someday replace her. I am happy to say I continued into the path she set forth and graduated from ASU with a degree in Nutrition. I'm not a dietitian, but I love what I do and Jean Ann would be proud. I have the ambition to continue my education and become a registered dietitian, and I will. I have had a lot of dietitian mentors and I have learn from all of them, but Jean Ann will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you, Chris, Katie, Matthew and Woody for sharing your mother with us. We will miss her dearly.
