Obituary of Edward Dell Owens

Edward Dell Owens, 89, of Tucson Arizona, passed away on Friday May 3rd, 2019 at Faithful Heart Home in Tucson Arizona. He leaves behind his brother; Bud Owens; his son, Phil Delaney; his daughters; Cindy Hanson, Susan Hoersten, and Debbie Grissom, 12 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Mother, Viola Mae Owens, Father Dell Edward Owens, Sister Glenna Shackelford, his loving wife Jerri Owens and son Gary Dell Owens. He was born on November 15th, 1929 to Dell and Viola Owens in Phoenix Arizona. He attended school in Phoenix, served in the Army and then worked as an Iron Worker for 40 years. He was a member of the Ironworkers union for 60 years. To all of his grandkids he was lovingly referred to as "Old Papa". He loved going fishing with his dad, was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping and traveling, was a pistol quick draw artist, was fond of golfing and loved to watch football and rooted for any team playing the Dallas Cowboys.
