So very sorry to learn of Brad's passing. He was a character with his Jeep in Tucson and as a graduate student in Donald Hanahan's lab. The last time we saw Brad was in San Francisco back in the mid 1970s when he was a post-doc at UCSF and I (Ken) at UC Berkeley. What we will cherish about Brad was his sense of humor. When we saw Brad, he commented on the world's largest "Roach Clipper" (referring to Sutro Tower) and world largest washing machine spindle (referring to St. Mary's Cathedral's architecture). What a blast we had at dinner with Brad in the Sunset district of SF at a restaurant called "The Goat" in French. He was a true gourmet food lover and lover of life. Wish we could have connected again after all these years.We;ll always remember him. Ken & Ann Yabusaki
