Obituary of Rupert Baker
"The man, The myth,The legend. Ladies man and outlaw." Rupert Baker, Jr., father of three passed away at the age of 74 on February 7. 2019. Rupert was born on April 1, 1944 in Tucson, Arizona to Ruperto Baker and Helen Duenas. He worked in construction with his brothers then began his own business venture opening The Hot Tamale Factory. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball and Soccer. Rupert was someone you could call a true friend. We'll miss your jokes but most of all your presence. Gone but not forgotten. Rupert is preceded in death by his father Ruperto, his mother Helen, his sister Rose Mary and sister Kathy. He is survived by his three children, Ruperto Baker III, Stella Lopez (Damien) and Walter Baker. Proud Tata of Ryan Reyes Baker, Vicente Lopez, Stella Lopez, Santino Lopez and Soraida Lopez; sister Yolanda Roman and half-siblings Anthony, Diane, Paul, Johnny, Josie, Ricky, Albert and many nieces and nephews. A Mass will be Celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Mass will be preceded by a rosary recitation at 11:30 am. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel.
