Obituary of Jon Neal Arriaga

On Wednesday Oct 10th, the world lost loving Father, brother, and son, Jon Arriaga. Gone too soon at the early age of 69, he is survived by his children Forrest, Paige and Parker, his mother Carmen, his siblings Art, Cathy Jo, & Patti and a never ending list of extended family & friends. This proud, hard working, creative & unconditionally loving Vet survived the Vietnam war providing life saving nursing skills and bringing that know-how with him back to Oregon working in the medical field until he found his calling as a general contractor. He spent his free time donating food to the less fortunate, made fine art with remnants of material from job sites, pontificated throughout the wee hours & he loved his children more than anything. He appreciated the subtleties of life and expressed himself with utter honesty. His wisdom, compassion and enduring spirit will be missed severely. There will be services at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ on Friday Oct 26th at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel.
