Obituary of Dennis Keith McClure

Dennis Keith McClure (September 26, 1942 - October 11, 2017) Dennis Keith McClure went home to be with the Lord October 11, 2017. He was an amazing man, a true gentleman, a wonderful husband, father and my best friend. He was proud to serve his country as a Marine. Born in Detroit, Michigan at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital. Lived most of his adult life in Southern California and the last 18 years in Tucson, AZ. Dennis loved just hanging out with his two sons and their friends. His boys meant the world to him. He always said how proud he was of them. He cherished the trip to CA last November where he got to spend time with his 2 grandchildren, Wyatt and Wes. He loved wood working, camping and boating with his family at Lake Havasu, AZ. He made his career working for Shell Oil Company and then went on to drive 18-wheeler doubles cross country until he retired. He was very proud that he had driven well over 2 million miles without an accident or a ticket. He leaves behind his wife, Phyllis; two sons, the oldest Kenneth and his wife, Lisa and their two children, Wyatt and Wes from California; the youngest son, Steven and his ex-wife, Nina of Arizona; his sister, Vicki Conklin from New York, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and Sally McClure, his boys mother.
