On the eve of dad's Celebration of Life Service, I wanted to take a moment and thank family and friends for their loving words and heart-felt condolences. I've said it before; Nancy, Rick, and I are so blessed to have such a loving support structure of family and friends around us. Thank you all so very much, for EVERYTHING! We also want to acknowledge dad's doctors and nurses who helped dad in so many ways; healing him time and time again. Dr's Dave Burgess (his primary care physician), and Jamie Meyer his heart Dr at (at Pima Heart), and Dr. Walshaw his kidney Dr. And his TMC professionals that kept him comfortable and clean to the very end. Also Pepe's House for Hospice; what a great place. We want to thank Bryan and Suzie Trask of "Mesquite House", and all the caregivers there (dad's home for the last 5 years); part of dad's longevity was due to the great care and loving environment that they provided. And we want to thank Taylor Adair & Adair Funeral Home; they are so professional and Taylor made this experience so smooth and easy. And last but certainly not least, I want to thank my wife; her unending love for my father and all the help/work she's done over the years (from balancing his checkbook to taking him to some of his Dr apts); I could not have gone through this and helped my dad to the level we did, without her. Nancy, you are my angel, my friend, and the love of my life! May dad rest easy and enjoy another game of Canasta with my mom, Uncle George, and Aunt Gloria; with Gloria & mom speaking Italian and winning - while George & dad got frustrated.... I love you dad, and will miss your great sense of humor that I was fortunate enough to inherit.
