Trudi Kipps was one of the most beautiful people God ever created. She married her true soulmate, Gordon Kipps. Together they created a wonderful family, a family that extended beyond their two daughters, Julie and Carol. Trudi Kipps was a generous, compassionate, loving, and always made you feel welcome, and special. She and her husband were the kinds of parents every kid wished they had. Trudi Kipps had the most wonderful laugh, and her husband Gordon had 'rosey cheeks' that lit up whenever he laughed. These two ALWYS made you feel welcome, no matter when you might stop by, expected or unannounced. Anyone who was lucky enough to have met Trudi and Gordon know exactly what I am talking about.. Gordon Kipps was such a forward thinking individual that he used mass-transit to commute to his law practice downtown decades before anyone ever talked about the notion of 'ride-sharing', or 'car-pooling', or the such. We all would have been far better off if Gordon had been elected Mayor of Tucson when he ran for office back in the 60's. He was far too honest and ethical of an individual to exist as a politician, but it would have been wonderful if he had been elected. I miss Trudi and Gordon Kipps as much as I miss my own parents. I will always carry the memories of these two wonderful people in my heart. They were both truly some of God's best work- and I was unbelievably lucky to know them.
