My last time seeing Joey is here with his mother, my sister. I was his Aunt Susie. Joey had lots of aunts but he was my only nephew. Lucky me! He was an adorable child and an always amusing teen, his sense of humor reminiscent of his father. It was his wit and fun disposition that swept up my sons in their get togethers in Oregon or Tucson. (Only nephew title was suspended with the emergence of great nephew Jeremiah) But Joey’s position in our family was always a highlight. We were eager to see and be with Joey. His charm captured my grandson, who only met him once but enthusiastically relied on their connection in phone calls, texts & email. Joey is missed and the cherished memories help the sadness. My thoughts & prayers are with my sister and family. Susan Condon
