Obituary of Maricela Llerenas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Maricela Llerenas. Maricela was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her battle with cancer ended on January 28^th, 2024. She was born to Maria Magallon and Pablo Llerenas in Los. Angeles, California on April 1^st, 1974. The oldest of six kids, she is survived by her siblings (Carlos Llerenas, Edwin Corleto, Andony Corleto, Barbarra Corleto and Stephanie Corleto) and parents. Marciela is also survived by her husband, Nelson Gutierrez. They married in Phoenix, Arizona on June 24^th, 2016.

Maricela was a great mother to five children: Debora Luna, Perla Luna, Jorge Luna, Alberto Luna and Andy Luna. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Luis Soto Luna, Mateo Soto Luna, Adalynn Luna, and Estevan Luna. Her kids and grandchildren will always hold her dearly in their hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She moved to Arizona over 20 years ago. She was a hard worker and worked in grocery and retail stores for many years. She was well known by many people in the Phoenix community for her kindness and friendly attitude. We will all miss her beautiful smile and her laughter.

Maricela enjoyed spending time with her family, making meals, watching movies, traveling, and attending concerts. She was fond of Mexican bands and romantic songs. She loved to dance and spent many weekends going out with her friends and husband.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on February 16^th, 2024. The service will be held at Adair Funeral Home at 12 pm. Please join us on this day or if you are unable to make it, we ask that you think of Maricela on this day and join us in wishing her everlasting peace.

 

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maricela Llerenas. Maricela fue una amorosa esposa, madre, hija, abuela, hermana y amiga. Su batalla contra el cáncer terminó el 28 de enero de 2024. Sus padres son María Magallón y Pablo Llerenas, nacio en Los. Ángeles, California, el 1 de abril de 1974. La mayor de seis hermanos, le sobreviven sus hermanos (Carlos Llerenas, Edwin Corleto, Andony Corleto, Barbarra Corleto y Stephanie Corleto) y sus padres. A Marciela también le sobrevive su esposo, Nelson Gutiérrez. Se casaron en Phoenix, Arizona, el 24 de junio de 2016.

Maricela fue una gran madre de cinco hijos: Débora Luna, Perla Luna, Jorge Luna, Alberto Luna y Andy Luna. Deja atrás a sus nietos: Luis Soto Luna, Mateo Soto Luna, Adalynn Luna y Estevan Luna. Sus hijos y nietos siempre la tendrán en sus corazones. Todos los que la amaban la extrañaremos mucho.

Se mudó a Arizona hace más de 20 años. Trabajaba muy duro y trabajó en supermercados y tiendas minoristas durante muchos años. Era muy conocida por muchas personas en la comunidad de Phoenix por su amabilidad y actitud amistosa. Todos extrañaremos su hermosa sonrisa y su risa.

Maricela disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, preparar comidas, ver películas, viajar y asistir a conciertos. Le gustaban las bandas mexicanas y las canciones románticas. Le encantaba bailar y pasaba muchos fines de semana saliendo con sus amigos y su marido.

Se llevará a cabo una Celebración de la Vida en su honor el 16 de febrero de 2024. El servicio se llevará a cabo en Adair Funeral Home a las 12 p.m. Únase a nosotros en este día o, si no puede asistir, le pedimos que piense en Maricela en este día y se una a nosotros para desearle paz eterna.
