Obituary of Mary Ann Daley

Mary Ann Daley passed away January 29, 2024 at the age of 90. She led a life full of

love and faith and left family and friends feeling cherished, saddened and truly blessed for

having her grace their lives.

Mary Ann was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and discovered at an early age a love of music

which she carried throughout her life. As a graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of

Music, Mary Ann was able to take that love of music and share it with everyone through

performing with opera companies, symphonies, churches and schools.

Mary Ann was beloved as a music teacher in schools, private piano teacher, music

director for the Folk Group of St Odilia’s Catholic Church and youth music director at

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic church.

In addition to music, Mary Ann worked tirelessly creating and maintaining opportunities

for special needs people starting with her son Michael.

She also was well respected in the insurance and finance industry, helping many clients

navigate the complex intricacies of health insurance and financial planning.

Mary Ann is survived by 3 of her children; Sean, Michael and Katie and a grandson,

Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bill, and her daughter,

Teri Ann.

Her viewing will be Thursday, February 15^th

In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann would appreciate a donation to made to her son Michael’s Day Program, Project Origins. “Origins” as we like to call it, is a part of the Southwestern Global College. Michael was the first student to join the program upon its founding in 1987.
