Ted was a presence in a room. A passionate guy with emphatic views. A graduate of University of WI, Parkside, he worked for J.I. Case, Racine and held membership in the UAW Local 180 serving as Trustee and Sargent of Arms. Ted, a dedicated Trade Unionist worked on the Union’s Professional Staff of Local 150 Service Employees and the Teamsters Local 43 serving with distinction and integrity. Ted also served his community as a County Board Supervisor. After moving from Wisconsin he continued working in Human Resources.

His many interests included politics and the Southern Arizona Golden Retriever Rescue (SAGRR) where he volunteered his time and truck. But most of all he loved and was committed when fostering dogs. He also loved his bikes and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. It was always about the ride, not the destination.

Ted will be greatly missed by those that loved him including his dog, Murphy and cat, Patch. In lieu of flowers donations to the Southern Arizona Golden Retriever Rescue is suggested.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Ted at 12:00PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Adair Funeral Homes-Avalon Chapel, 8090 N Northern Avenue, Oro Valley AZ 85704
