Obituary of Joshua Thomas Stockton
JOSHUA THOMAS STOCKTON-
Our beloved Josh passed away unexpectedly on September 25th, 2023, at the age of 37.
Our Family was not expecting Josh’s life to be cut short so soon. We are all very devastated by this huge loss and he will forever be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Josh was born in Tucson, Az on June 19th, 1986. He graduated from Pueblo High School in 2004. In April of 2006, Josh dedicated his life to serving his country and enlisted in the U.S. Navy; where he worked on various combat aircrafts, ensuring their quality and safety. Josh contributed to thousands of hours of mishap free flight hours and deployed several times in his short life. After serving in the U.S. Navy for 11 years, Josh returned to Tucson, Az. In June of 2017 he joined the AZ Air National Guard, eventually enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. His last role was as the 152nd flight line expeditor at the 162nd Wing.
Josh had a gentle soul with a big heart, infectious laugh, and a contagious smile. He was so much fun to be around and loved by all. Josh was extremely hard working and talented. Any new craft he wanted to learn, he would research and do. He had a variety of hobbies, including woodworking, welding, building/collecting Legos, 3D printing, working on anything with an engine, playing the guitar and enjoying the outdoors. At the age of three Josh began riding three wheelers and thus began his love of riding a variety of motorcycles and camping.
Josh is survived by his parents, Thomas, and Melody Stockton; daughter Monroe Stockton (15); Fiancé Mariah Timmins; sister Jubilee Olguin; brother-in-law Kyle Olguin; nephews Ryley Olguin (14) and Brayden Olguin (10); brother Andy Mason; and soon to be loving extended family, Ann, Adian, Ian and Colin Timmins; loving Grandparents, Great Uncles and Aunts, Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
