Obituary of Carol Elaine Carithers

Carithers, Carol Elaine (Reynard), born March 7, 1927 in Danville Illinois. Passed May 16, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona at 96. She is survived by her sister-in-law Annabel Reynard and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her husband Philip Carithers, twin brother Carl Reynard, sisters Olive Baldwin and Verla Reynard. As a school teacher, Carol shared her love of learning with generations of children. There was a graveside service June 2, 2023, at Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski, Virginia. Additional services in Tucson, Arizona will be held on August 5, 2023, beginning 9:30am at the Christ Church United Methodist of Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol's name to the Christ Church United Methodist of Tucson.
