In Loving Memory of Frank

Now we've come to the end of our road, my husband, my friend, the love of my life.
The possessions we had meant nothing you see, because I had you and you had me.
I could not have loved you more Frank, of this I’m absolutely sure, being here without you only God knows how I’ll endure.
I'II miss everything about you, your hands upon my face as I looked into your beautiful eyes, your strong arms pulling me in, with a warm and gentle embrace. Kisses every morning and night, even on the days we’d fight.
In my sadness, my mind wandered back to 1977. One particular night, you looked across the counter at me, and your love you could not hide.
I knew in that moment we'd always be by each others side, then you crossed your arms as you stared at me…. I flashed you a great big smile.
All these things we shared and more, forty six years is quite awhile.
And even though we had tough times, we worked through them in the end.
I'll never forget you honey, AND my life will never be the same;
No more tender moments, only memories will remain.
Now my heart is broken in two, sometimes I feel I cannot breathe.
I have loved you all my life, and this I know you seen.
Someday we'll be together again, but for now I have to rise. However, I can't wait to get to heaven, and hold you one final time.
