Obituary of Michael Alan Gregory

Michael A Gregory of Tucson, AZ passed away April 6, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, of 23 years and their three children, Jason, Laura (Andrew), Danielle (Jaime) and three grandchildren Sawyer, Ainsley and Gavin.

Mike grew up in Michigan, ran track at Hazel Park High School and went on to serve as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He moved to Tucson in 1980 and went through the police academy where he served as a Police Officer with the Tucson Police Department until he had an unfortunate on the job injury and was medically retired. Mike also joined the naval reserves; he retired after 16 years from the Southern AZ VA Healthcare System as an Autopsy Assistant.

 He had a love for sports especially his Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed playing golf and going to car shows and loved his TOOLS! His love for law enforcement and forensic science, kept Mike an interesting man who had a unique sense of humor. If he made someone laugh, his job was done for the day. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 N Shannon Road with a Rosary beginning at 10:30AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.

Burial will be at Holy Hope Cemetery, Tucson Arizona.
