Obituary of Rosemary H Miller
Born in 1929 during the Great Depression, Rosemary (aka Rosie, Rosebud, RosieBoo) grew up with meager beginnings, but with a family who loved her. She saw many changes in her 93 years, speaking often of her childhood, and about living in a boxcar at the trainyard with her parents and brothers.
She continued to live a humble life, always thinking of others and bringing joy to all who knew her. Her smile lit up the room and she made friends with strangers wherever she went.
Rosie was happiest when she was with her family and close friends. She lived her life with grace, love and an abundance of laughter. She was practical and frugal yet quick to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Rosie worked for 30 years at the Social Security Administration. Afterwards, she was fortunate to have enjoyed a long and happy retirement, spending much of her time in Bayfield, Colorado where she really enjoyed life and countless, new and crazy life adventures.
A single parent, she raised and is survived by her four children (Butch, Sharon, Karen & Sandy). Her children and grandchildren (Will, Melanie & Ryan) were her greatest joy. Lovingly called “Triple G” (Great, Great, Grandma), she is also survived by 4 great grandchildren. She instilled a love of Christ in her family who are comforted by knowing she now has eternal life and is rejoicing in heaven. A place she truly deserved to be, because all who knew her, knew that she was an Angel on this earth.
