Deacon Henry M. Gamboa
Born on July 14, 1930, our beloved father joined our mother, his sons and grandson on April 2, 2023. Our father passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Special thanks to Sonia Corrales, his loving and devoted caregiver and to Casa de la Luz hospice services for their care and kindness. Our father now shares his glory with those who have gone before him including his beloved wife, Natalia, sons, Henry Jr. and Cipriano, and his grandson Gabriel, as well as all other beloved parents, brothers, sisters and family members. He is survived by: daughters Sylvia (Orlando Vega); Rosa (Doug Schmid); Corina (Lou Gomez); 9 grandchildren: Celestina (Guy Butierez), Erica (Matt Tugg), Natasha (Tiffany Gamboa), Jonathan (Honey Schmid), Louis (Cynthia Rodriguez), Luke (Charlize Gomez), Kassandra (Oscar Espinoza), Anthony (Yareny Gamboa), Dominic Gamboa (Kelly Benefield); 13 Great Grandchildren: Yazmina Vega, Corina Butierez, Eric Butierez, Luz del Cielo Neely, Wilde Tugg, Chase Gamboa, Moses Schmid,Louis Gomez III, Naima Gomez, Luke Gomez, Kamehalani Gomez, Mateo Gomez,Oscar Esperanza Jr., Elias Espinoza and Enzo Gamboa. Our father is also survived by 2 of his remaining 13 siblings: Beatrice G. Villarreal and Alicia G. Hefner, as well as many loved and cherished nephews, nieces, cousins, loving family members and friends in Christ. Our father’s careers have been guided by the Lord serving in his professional life as Educator with TUSD, U of A, ASU and Pima College, a business owner, and his greatest vocation, ordained as a permanent Deacon and actively serving his ministry since 1991.

Our Lady of Fatima Church – 1950 W. Irvington – Wednesday – 4/19 - Mass @ 10:30 a.m.
Internment following @ Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery - 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes.
