First met Jo and Jack as customers when I installed Window Quilts in their State College home. As we became friends, I then did several other maintenance projects. So appreciated and loved spending time with them. The women's spirituality course that Jo co-led was transformative. Tucson gained so much to have them. Wish I could have met some of their children as I'd heard so much about you. So sorry for your loss.

To Jo's Family - I was sorry to see your mother's obituary in the Centre Daily Times, but happy to be reminded that she had a long life well-lived. I remember Jo very fondly as a warm, fun and intellectually curious person with a wonderful sense of humor. When she was at Beaver Campus I was a grad student visiting the campus to lecture in art history. Jo knew of my interest in theater (Carly, you and I did some shows together at Boal Barn), and she suggested that we do reader's theater when I was on campus. We had great fun and the students loved it. Although we didn't stay in touch over the years since, my fondness for Jo has endured. My wife, Jeanne, who met Jo several times, joins me in sending sincere sympathy Richard Porter
