Obituary of Donna Jean Strang

Donna Jean Strang was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother of six, grandmother of 23, and friend to many. She died peacefully in her home on December 15, 2022, at age 86. She is preceded by her husband of 37 years, Charles Strang. Donna’s career included electronics, metallurgical research, and telescope manufacturing; her most cherished role was raising her children. Donna loved spending time with her family, quilting, and creating textile art. She enjoyed reading, making rain bets, and learning to use the latest technology. Donna’s legacy of love, generosity, tenacity, and humor lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her resilience, devotion and clever wit serves as an inspiration to all.  

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 11:00am at Glover Ranch, 13400 W. Twin Peaks Rd., Marana, AZ 85653
