Amelia J. Sanchez

October 21, 1929 to January 31, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Amelia J. Sanchez. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Amelia will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She devoted her love to her family, friends, and Parrish. Amelia was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico and was married to Ricardo M. Sanchez on August 4, 1951. Amelia’s passing was preceded by the death of her father Ylario Jimenez, her mother Margarita Costales-Jimenez, and her husband Ricardo M. Sanchez. She leaves behind her six children, twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Amelia leaves behind one brother Ronaldo Jimenez. Amelia will always be remembered for her kind heart, her cooking, and how much she loved her family.

A memorial service will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 8650 North Shannon Road, Tucson, AZ 85742 on February 8, 2023.

Rosary at 10:30 AM

Mass at 11:00 AM

Lunch will follow at Amelia’s house, located at 4312 West Mars, Tucson, AZ 85741
