Obituary of Oscar Alonzo Tinsley

Oscar Alonzo Tinsley of Mount Pleasant, TX died peacefully Friday night January 20, 2023 at the age of 82. Oscar was a proud veteran of the Air Force. He loved watching Dallas Cowboys Football, old western movies and spending time with his family. He enjoyed the history of the old west and exploring the west. Some of his favorite spots were Tombstone, Canyon De Chelly, and the Hubble Trading Post in Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his father Charlie Tinsley who died serving in WWII, and his beloved mother Dorothy Mae. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Frances Tinsley, his son Sonny Rosemond (wife Paula), his grand daughter Kimberly Bunch and great grandson Blaise Nation.
