Obituary of Daniel Xavier Berjac

Daniel Xavier Berjac, 48 years old, left this world January 4th, 2023. Dan’s passions include hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking, and his dogs Shelby and Beto. He also loved his cat Lola, his chickens, his duck and Lucy his cockatoo.
Dan was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. His family moved to Bryant Arkansas in 1980 where he received his early education and graduated from Bryant High School. Dan went on to continue his education, receiving his Masters of Nursing, Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner • Seattle University, Seattle, WA Doctor of Chiropractic • Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, MO Bachelor of Science, Human Anatomy & Biology • Logan College, St. Louis, MO Bachelor of Arts, History • University of South Alabama, Mobile, AL TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS/ CONTINUING EDUCATION Included: Risk Adjustment Coding Certification, AAPC, (Expected in March 2022) CPR/ First Aid Certified, American Heart Association Development of Diabetes Education Program, Coulee Medical Center, Grand Coulee, WA Clinical Preceptor for ARNP Students, Seattle University Seattle, WA AWARDS & RECOGNITION Nurse Practitioner of the Year: Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, 2019 and 2020.   Recognized for great performance in primary care to the transgender population and voted by peers and colleagues in the Puget Sound area. Honored with only nurse practitioner of the year voted by colleagues across Western Washington in 2019 and 2020. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE INCLUDED: Participate in International Frontrunners Club, 2000-Present Volunteer for Various Organizations for Aids Awareness/Prevention, 1994-Present Medical Volunteer in Dominican Republic, Haiti, & Ecuador Founding Member of Les Faeries Vertes, Seattle Based Not-For-Profit Organization Raising Money for Grassroots Charities and Served as President for Three Years and as Board Member at Large. Volunteer, Residence Xii Fundraiser to Aid Chemical Dependency Treatment for Women. Project Manager of Rainbow City Band’s Largest Fundraiser of Year. Served at Rainbow City Band Development Committee, Purpose to Raise Both Awareness of Band’s Activities and Money to Fund Band. Served as Team Medic for Local Rugby Team Served as Vice President and Treasurer of Logan Class of December 2003 and Acted as Representative in Student Government.

 

Volunteer, Catholic Social Services Teaching English to Refugees. Volunteer, The Mobile Ballet Company Dan lived in Seattle until he relocated to Tucson in 2020. He enjoyed working for One Medical Center in Tucson. Dan leaves behind his mother, Debbie Conn (Todd), his father Daniel Boner (Barbara), his brother Shaun Bonner (Amy), his nephew Cameron Hults , niece Brooklynn Hults, of Arkansas. Dan’s godchildren Caleigh, Kingsley, and Remi Byers of Washington and extended family and friends all over the world. Dan was the life of the party. His eyes had such a sparkle, and his smile and laughter were contagious.  Dan loved his patients. He took the time to understand what was going on with them. He was very compassionate and had a terrific bedside manner.   Dan is proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his Aunt Melba who he adored!
