Obituary of Joyce Ann Bair

Joyce Ann Bair, age 64, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022 due to a short battle with liver disease in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on October 12, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia. The daughter of Larry and Sally Cohen. Joyce grew up in an Air Force family with her sister Eedy. Joyce was well travelled: she began school in Calumet, MI; then Wuertzburg Germany; Niceville, Fl; Charleston, WVA; San Bernadino, CA; Sheppard AFB, TX; Dayton, OH; Oakland, CA; finally graduating from Lackland AFB HS, San Antonio TX. During her time in Germany, she toured Holland, Austria and Belgium.

After graduating high school in San Antonio, Texas she moved to Dayton, OH and then to Tucson, Arizona where she married James Oglesbee in 1977. In 1986 they were blessed with their daughter, Ashley.

In June 2006 she remarried Frank Bair, after dating for over 10 years. Before Frank passed away in 2017, they enjoyed their time together by visiting craft fairs, wearing their matching Nike sneakers, and taking road trips to visit family and their favorite casinos.

Joyce loved her cockapoo, Jazzy. She also enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, and watching her soap operas.

Joyce was preceded in death by her current husband, Frank Bair. She is survived by her mother and father, Larry and Sally Cohen of Reading, PA; first husband, James Oglesbee of Buckeye, AZ; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Neil Dalmas and grandchildren, Calvin and Blake Dalmas of Frisco, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Eedy and Mike Baker, nephew and wife, Bradley and Ashley Baker, and niece and husband, Kelly and Trevor Ashley of Reading, PA; sister-in-law and husband, MaryAnn and Steve Voevodsky and niece and husband, Hanna (Voevodsky) and Preston Spears.

Her family will be spreading her ashes in a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate to your local humane society.
