Obituary of Marie Angelina Cornelison

Our dear Marie Angelina Cornelison passed away from this life Sunday, November 13, 2022, after a year of suffering the results of a massive stroke.

Marie was loved as Mom, Sister, Nana, Aunt Marie and friend to many.  She was born March 12,1935, the fourth daughter of Geatano and Angelina Ciccimarro. She was very proud of her Italian heritage. She married Tommy Edward Cornelison on August 23, 1952, in Van Nuys, California where she gave birth to two children, Marianne and Ron.

Marie loved to cook and will always be remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren for her homemade tortillas, cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies.  She loved to do things for others and will be remembered by all for her generosity and her love for the Lord.

Marie is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Tommy Cornelison and survived by her daughter Marianne (Ron) Lanning, her son Ronald Robert Cornelison.  Six Grandchildren: Christopher Aaron (Amber) Lanning, Jeffrey Scott (Micah) Lanning, Kimberly Marie (Brandon) Harris, Jennifer Diane (Adam) Wooster, Makena Marie Cornelison and Joshua Thomas Cornelison.

Thirteen Great Grandchildren: Logan Isaac (Allie) Lanning, Avery Grace Lanning, Hannah Joy Lanning, Emily Grace Lanning, Jackson Peyton Lanning, Ella Marie Harris, Fisher Walton Harris, Sloane Isabella Lanning, Ally Kate Wooster, Beckett Russell Harris, Gavin Patrick Wooster, Molly Rae Wooster, and Weston Mathew Cornelison.

She is also survived by her sisters Catherine Raikes, and Frances Lisenby.

No more pain, no more wheelchairs, entering the Lord’s open arms. She was so loved and will be missed by so many.
