Obituary of Kathy Ann Duff-Stewart

Kathy Ann Duff-Stewart rode into the sunset on November 14, 2022. Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents William and Juanita Henerfauth, husband Jeffery Stewart, and granddaughter Kimberly Duff, she is survived by her daughter Joy Duff-Sims (Craig), grandson William Wilkinson, son Dylan Duff (Karina), brother William Henerfauth (Sue), niece Elizabeth Henerfauth, and sister-in-law Cathy Stewart.

 Kathy spent over 20 working for Picture Rocks Fire Department, she started there in 1983 as a dispatcher, then became a volunteer firefighter /EMT, she worked her way to a fulltime position and retired as Picture Rocks Fire Departments first female fire chief. Kathy also worked at Three Points Fire Dept as a Fire Marshall until she finally retired from the fire service.

Kathy’s true passions were her horses and her family, she was truly at home in the saddle, or surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her sense of humor, her sensible advice, and her hugs. Kathy touched many lives while on duty and off.
