Elli and I were best friends in Virden her Freshman year, my Sophomore. We were together all the time. My family moved during my second semester. She was the best to say the least. The photo was taken before, or perhaps for, her recital of the "Pit and the Pendulum" by Poe in school auditorium. I knew Tom and Dan (?). Her mother and father were both delightful but separated. Nothing but the fondest memories of this talented, smart, kind person. As I think of things, I will post them.
