Obituary of Diane Kay Trego

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Kay Trego (Myers). Diane, 71, passed on October 7th, 2022 at her home, in her sleep. She was born March, 29, 1951, in Spokane Washington, the daughter of Richard and Thelma Myers. 

Diane graduated from Rincon High School, class of 1969. Following graduation, she married her love of her life, Douglas Trego, in 1972. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in March. Diane attended Nursing School and finished in 1979.  She was a compassionate nurse for 43 years. Diane is survived by her husband, Douglas, four children, Kathleen, Haley, Greggory, and Natalie, and four grandchildren, Kalend, Brooklyn, Charles and Lucille, her mother, Thelma, sister, Deborah, and brother, Garnet.

Diane was a caring foster mom to 42 foster children for 16 years. Diane loved to dance, read, travel the world, spend time with her grandkids and entertain friends and family at her home. 

A memorial service will be held at Adair Funeral Homes Dodge Chapel on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00, as well as a short memorial service following the church service at Country Club Church of Christ on Sunday October 16, 2022.
