Obituary of John Duane Barrett
John Duane “Buddy” Barrett of Sierra Vista, Arizona died September 8, 2022 at the age of 77.
Born April 11, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana, he grew up in Arkansas, attended North Little Rock High School, and retired from the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Houston Barrett & Comfort Ruth Yount; siblings Dianne Morrison, Steve Barrett and Michael Barrett; and daughter Lia Jo Barrett. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis Ann Murrison; children, Tammy Ketcher, Eric Barrett, Ruben Barrett; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family.
