My Uncle Ron Palmer became our father figure following the unexpected passing of my Dad, his older brother Allan in 2004. Ron was an amazingly God gifted man, devoted and loving son, brother, husband, Dad, grandad, uncle and lifelong friend to many. We will be celebrating Ron's life and legacy on Saturday July 30th at 10 AM in Tucson.

Ron was a wonderful man. An individual of many talents, he was the contractor for building
the gymnasium at Green Fields Country Day School with it unique ceiling structure. I lost
touch with Ron after we moved to Ohio (have since returned to Tucson) and am sorry for
doing so. My deep condolences to Karen and Kristen.

We are so saddened by Ron’s passing. My husband Richard and myself were active members in SARA when Ron and Shirley joined. Richard also spent 30+ years with Mt Lemmon Ski patrol where Shirley and Darlene also spent time. Richard and I were at the Mt Lemmon ski slope last Wednesday and remarked how Ron and Shirley were responsible for the sign on the Ski Patrol shack. Shirley was also responsible for the huge wooden covers on the SARA scrapbooks that are still reviewed and such a treasure to view even today. We had many BBQs, get togethers and work parties at their home. They are definitely missed as they both had a huge presence in all they did.
