This is from Brian Edwards. Tom was the Vice President of our non profit The Last Alarm. LAF has restored a 1954 Mack fire engine. It is used for first responders’ funerals. Hence the name Last Alarm. I’m sure those of us who work with Last Alarm have imagined our service and in our minds eye seen what a remarkable vehicle it truly is. Not only will Tom be in the truck but a few family members will enjoy his “last alarm”. We were so honored to have had his quiet but strong contributions to LAF. We have provided this service to over 75 first responders. We have a plaque that commemorates these men and women who have passed on. We are sad but honored to add his name to the plaque. He will be greatly missed.
