Obituary of Barbara Colvin

At 75, Barbara “B.J.” June Colvin passed away surrounded by her family on 4/17/22.

She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years Douglas Colvin and leaves behind many loved ones. B.J. was vibrant and full of life who could light up the darkest room with her contagious laugh, and fun personality.

She was most proud of being a wife, mother, grandma and great- grandma "nana". Together B.J and Douglas raised their children, and grandchildren, where she delighted in having a house full of her of family.

Though BJ was tough as nails, she was also soft and loving all rolled into one small, but strong package. She was the strength needed by so many, and the soft place to land to her family. She always said Dynamite came in small packages, and this was true for her.

As the softball quote goes “There’s nothing soft about it, it just leaves a bigger bruise” best describes the pain left behind to her family who loved her, and adored her so much. She will be missed by many.
