Obituary of Morris Warren Conway Jr.

 

 

 

Morris Warren Conway Jr. was born on January 20, 1939, to the late Morris W. Conway Sr. and Marion E. Conway in Beverly, New Jersey. He suddenly passed away on April 8, 2022.  

 

Morris was an exceptional athlete at Burlington City High School.  After serving four years in the United States Air Force, he pursued a career at IBM until his retirement. 

 

A lover of the outdoors, Morris enjoyed Mount Lemmon and its surrounding areas for hiking and its scenery.  He also enjoyed football, bowling, meeting new people, socializing with his neighbors, and having an occasional beer. Morris enjoyed talking with his sister, Charlotte, several times each week, and communicating daily with other family and friends via Facebook.

 

Morris is predeceased by his father, Morris W. Conway, Sr.; his mother, Marion E. Conway; and two sisters, Marion E. Edwards and Joan Griffin.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Candace Jacobs of North Carolina and Audrey Nelson of  Texas; his sister, Charlotte Lovelace of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

 

A Celebration of Life is being arranged through family and will be made public when there is a set date and time.
