Lisa my heart goes out to you, Justin and Julia. We were devastated to hear of Julius' passing.
He was an incredible caring good man. I saw how he helped the youth of our Flacon team with his heart and his soul. He did more to foster youth than anyone I've ever met.
The picture of our team at the Florida nationals hangs in my office that I see each day. I smile at me getting to be Coach Estrada. It was a joy and honor to work together with all of you to be a part of the team and build the confidence of those youth.
Truly a highlight of my life thanks to Julius, who by the way came up to me and recruited me as business manager lol.
Jonas still uses one of Julius' quotes to live his life. "If you're early, you're on time. If your on time you're late and late is unacceptable" God bless you all and God bless Julius Holt.

I wish condolences to The Holt family. We knew him as “Big Red”. He was always making big plays on the field. Julius was always a gentle giant. I remember him being kind and fun loving. It is great to hear that he had a life-long passion for counseling kids and athletes. I could see how he would enjoy that. Take care Holt family, God is watching over you.

Lisa, the news of Julius’s passing came as much of a shock to us, as it did to you. I remember fondly how you and Julius welcomed me and a friend into your home when I visited Arizona over 20 years ago. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and had such great conversation. Julius’s heart was as big as the world and he did everything within his power to show love to as many people as he could. He was one of my 1st cousins, along with his brothers and although we didn’t see each other often, I made it a point to speak to him or acknowledge his posts whenever he was on Facebook. This is truly a loss for the Holt family and he will be missed. Please know that although I can’t be there in person, I’m there in spirit. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Your dash tells a might strong and exciting life story. Lisa has captured it well. A story different from the annoying freshman that I met at Cardozo High School who always had a smile on his face and pimp in his walk "Lol". As the saying goes you should never judge a book by it's cover, because that cover hid the story of the man that was developing in each chapter. You leave a strong legacy behind and so many what if's. You understood your purpose in life and navigated it well. Your light will always shine bright, like a diamond, the moon, the stars, the sun but most importantly through your family. You were the wind beneath the wings of many and the hero to others. Julius was always my brother, while Ricky and Lamonte were off managing their NFL career, Julius surely stepped up for me and played that big brother roll, keeping me laughing enjoying what little or all I had. We fought at times as brother do. But enjoyed life together like family suppose to. Love you Ju, you will be truly missed but I feel so good to know you will be that angel for us all above.
