My Dad was a man of many hobbies. From owing a bike shop and being a founding member of the Tucson Wheelman Cycling Club to Cactus and having a cacti named after him to Umpiring Baseball Games to his love of history.
When my sister and I were growing up in Victorville, California and living on George Air Force Base my Dad would take us every Saturday to a cactus farm. We would listen to my Dad give tours and ride around on carts. The visitors to the cactus farm would love to hear my Dad's voice since it was so "British" and beautiful.
While still living in Victorville, Ca My Dad took my sister and I to the local USO club one Saturday to meet Roy Rodgers a famous cowboy movie star. The local paper wanted to take a picture of the "dashing" English Air Force guy and his girls.
I am glad to have had these memories of my Dad. He had a great life with many adventures.

Family and Friends,
James was a remarkable man and we are sad to have lost him. He loved mom dearly and she loved him back. I will always remember him calling her "Beverlyannicus" and us calling him "Jamesacus." His stories were legendary, as was his booming voice. He will be missed by all.
