I worked with John at the United Way Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site where he was the Site Coordinator. John was one of the most knowledgeable tax experts in the VITA program. Everyone at the site relied on him for advice and expertise, which he patiently provided. At VITA sites there is always one person who prepares the return and another experienced person who reviews it for accuracy. He of course was the reviewer. He was very professional with the clients and when he completed the review he always shook the client's hand and bade them a good year ahead.
