Obituary of Angelo Pisciotta

Angelo Pisciotta passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2022 at the age of 88 after a hard fought battle with cancer.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 64 years.  Together they have 6 children,Victor (Michelle), Perry (Yvonne ), Joy Derrick, Paul Pisciotta , Michael Pisciotta , and Angela Fraser, (Mark).  Joyce and Angelo have 14 grandchildren, Jessica Ferguson, Mike Derrick, Kristopher Derrick, Adam Derrick,  Nicholas Pisciotta, Phillip Pisciotta  and Matthew Pisciotta  (Heather) , Eric Pisciotta (Marlaina) Alicia Gomez (Dom), Andrew Pisciotta (Kristen), Anthony Pisciotta (Diana), Michaela Pisciotta, Grace Fraser, Jeremy Fraser and seven great-grandchildren, James Ferguson, Trinity and Dante Pisciotta, Savannah and Alec Pisciotta, Kaleb Derrick, and Olivia Pisciotta.  Angelo was preceded in death by his parents Vito and Virginia and his older brother, Vincent.  Angelo was an extremely hard working Entrepreneur who established many successful businesses both in New York and Arizona.  He was always very active and loved outdoor sports but his special love was horseback riding. He was an avid biking enthusiast with his wife riding tandem for many years.  He also enjoyed skiing, hiking, and swimming.  He loved to dance, especially to Latin music with his beloved wife.  They met 66 years ago at a church dance.  He was very dedicated to his family and was always involved with their lives as all his children remained close by in Arizona.

Visitation will be held at Adair Avalon, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Oro Valley, AZ 85704 on Thursday, February 24th from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with the Rosary being said at 6:00 P.M.

Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 5150 N. Valley View Rd. Tucson, 85718 on Friday, February 25 at 10:00 A.M.  Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, Oracle and Prince Rd.
