Obituary of Kevin Lynn Rushton

Kevin Lynn Rushton, age 68 , of Oro Valley, AZ and formerly of Woodstock, IL. Beloved and loving husband of 46 years to Judy (Slowen).  Loving father of Brant (Melissa) Rushton of Gridley, IL, Abbey (Jeremiah) Fairbanks of Oro Valley, AZ, and Ryan DPT (Jessica) Rushton of Oro Valley, AZ. Cherished and adored Papa of Keeley Rushton, Lyla, Anya and Micah Fairbanks.  Dear brother of Richard (Sarah) Rushton, Carol Miller, Roger Rushton, Karen (Michael) Bishopp, Brad (Janet) Rushton, David Rushton and Deborah (Len) McCaw. Loving Uncle and grand Uncle to many. Relative and friend to many.

Kevin was the former owner and operator of Rushton Variety in Hillsboro, IL.  He also was a former financial planner with Edward Jones and for many years was the District Manager for ESCO Corporation.  Kevin will be remembered for his self-less, kind and servant heart, as well as his deep love for his wife Judy, his Joy with all things involving his grandkids, a passion for adventure, the “Hungarian Hold” which no one has successfully escaped (except the grandkids), Papa-Corn (i.e., sugared popcorn), a barbecuing host of many family gatherings, his humor and his unwavering love for the Lord Jesus. Kevin leaves a legacy of faith.

A private cremation will take place.  A celebration of life will take place at Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene and will be live-streamed for out of town guests on March 4^th at 10am.
