I had the pleasure and honor to work with Jack for several years at H&R Block. He was a very kind, funny and interesting man. I learned a lot from Jack and always enjoyed our time together. May God bless him and his family.

Jack was such a sweet man who loved his wife and kids/grands/greats and especially his Lord Jesus. Heaven is our home so save us a seat, Jack.

Jack was my friend. For some years we sat and chatted at the church library on Sunday mornings. Sometimes we didn’t say all that much but shared companionable quiet.
I enjoyed his sense of humor and his good attitude. We had some good discussions about baseball as well as many other things. He was one of those uncommon people who ask you questions and it seemed that he wondered what your opinion was more than just asking so he could give his.
We also talked about his service and I really appreciate that he served.
It’s been great to know you Jack and I think you knew you’d be missed. Sunday mornings won’t be the same, I started going to 2nd hour church service after Covid and didn’t see Jack as much but it was good to know that I could-he’d be there in the library ready to relate like always.

The moment I met Jack, I knew he would be a wonderful addition to our family. He was one of the most interesting people I ever talked to. He served his nation well during World War ll and had stories to tell of those days that had me sitting on the edge of my chair. Jack was a faithful follower of Jesus. He taught hundreds of children to memorize scripture and have it always in their hearts. I know the verses he learned and taught were with him in his hours of greatest need. Jack was an example to our family of someone who took whatever life handed him and came through it with a calm demeanor and hope for the future. "God be with you, Jack, till we meet again."

Jack was an amazing gentleman. From his service during some of the most difficult days of World War ll to his many dedicated years of service in AWANA, it seems he was always helping others. I can't think of anyone I've known who could carry on a conversation ranging from the Titanic his father watched sailing on its one and only voyage to handy repair and landscaping ideas and tips.
Most importantly was his personal relationship with the Lord throughout his life. A true man of God who rightly divided the word of truth to children and adults, and who walked the talk as well. I'm sure he was greeted in heaven with the words, "Well done my good and faithful servant."
