Rose Cheney's family is united with you in paying tribute to this wonderful woman. Ruthie and Roll were always "Aunt" and "Uncle" to us, and greatly influenced our young lives, including their insistence that "of course you should go to college!" Education was so important to them, and we all did. My sister followed in Uncle Roly's footsteps as an elementary educator for 30+ years. I loved talking with Aunt Ruthie in recent years when she called to talk with my Mom. Her positive attitude and infectious laughter always lifted my day. She will be missed for sure, but I can still hear her laughter echoing in my mind.
We will make a donation to TMC Hospice - Peppi's House as suggested.
