Sherry Jo Tew

11-19-1953 – 07-04- 2021

Sherry Jo Tew passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 4th, 2021, in Tucson Arizona. She was the loving wife of Leland Paul Tew, and mother of Michelle Layman. Grandmother to Zachary and Mark, of Lincoln Nebraska. Sherry and her husband Paul lived in Tucson Arizona for the past 24 years. Sherry loved their life in the desert southwest. She loved the mountains nearby and the beautiful Sonoran Desert with the many wild critters that she often observed wandering through their property near Mt. Lemon, but her greatest love was her husband Paul.

Sherry will be laid to rest in Beatrice, Nebraska where her parents, Twila and Leroy Hintz, are buried, and where she spent much of her childhood. Arrangements are in the hands of her daughter Michelle, of Lincoln, Nebraska. Mrs. Tew has been in the capable hands of Adair Funeral Home and Encanto, on Dodge Blvd., Tucson.

Special thanks also go out the staff and nurse Carla Baker, at Shady Lane Living, where Sherry lived and was lovingly cared for, during the last two years of her life.

Sherry will forever be remembered for her bright and cheerful personality and will always be a precious memory in the hearts of her family, and especially in her husband Paul’s heart. Her beautiful smile and laughter will never be forgotten.
