Jim was my supervisor for many years at Raytheon and I will always remember him with great respect and fondness. He was an excellent engineer who practiced his craft with the utmost professionalism. His consistently calm and gentle demeanor was a trait that many aspired to but few could equal. He served his nation admirably both in uniform and in civilian life. I feel blessed that Jim played such a significant role in my own career as an engineer. I pray for the repose of his soul and comfort for his family and friends. He will be missed but never forgotten by all those whose lives he so graciously touched.

As we remember you with family and friends today, so many memories of you come flooding back. You were an amazing big brother, great uncle, a loving husband and all around nice guy. You were so kind, caring and generous and so easy going and patient. I hope you know how much I admired and looked up to you. I miss you so much and will remember you fondly. ❤️

Jim and I were work associates and good friends for over 45 years. Jim was always a competent engineer and just an all around good guy. We worked together at Fleet Analysis Center, General Dynamics, Hughes and Raytheon, during which Jim spent his entire working career working Standard Missile, starting with SM-2 Pilotline in 1976. We had great times bowling (when we were much younger), at UofA football games, and after retirement, enjoyed Marvel/DC movies at the Roadhouse, having a good burger together at lunch or just solving the world's problems. He was a good friend and I'll miss him more than I can express.

Family and friends of Jim, I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was a joy to work with, competent, kind, and unflappable. He was a good leader and nurturer of staff. He was almost cheerful, easy-going and had a ready smile. He knew his work and was well respected for it. We missed him when he retired, but were happy that he had things to accomplish even then. Our condolences to all. I rest easy in my belief I will see that smile and hearty greeting in the next life.
