Obituary of Jack Dewey Shreiner
Jack Shreiner, 94, of Tucson passed away Friday, July 9th, 2021. He was born on November 11th, 1926 in Elkhart, IN.
Survivors include his sons Scott (Holly) of Dunlap, TN and Kirk (Cathy) of Plymouth, IN; three grandchildren Amy, Charlie, and Kirk Jr.; and five great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his wife and best friend of 62 years, Beverly, whom he met during their junior year at Indiana University.
Jack was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Jack worked as an Accountant and ultimately as Head of the Payroll and Personnel Department at C. G. Conn in Elkhart for 25 years before finishing his career at Gemeinhardt and Gallery of Homes, both in Elkhart.
Jack and Beverly retired to Tucson in 1990 and throughly enjoyed the area, climate, and the many friends they made over the years. Jack enjoyed working in the yard and tending to his garden and was an avid football and basketball fan. He loved animals, especially his dogs whom he cared for with passion.
The family would like to thank BeeHive Homes and Hospice Family Care for the brief but wonderful compassionate care he received.
