Obituary of Gary Lee Stoe

Gary Stoe passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2021 in the presence of his loved ones. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1952, he made his home in Arizona for most of his adult life. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Stoe, and his two  sons, his eight grandchildren, and his sister, Jackie McCune. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Elmer Stoe and his brother, Elmer Jr.

Gary had a love for life and people and was most recently employed by Kyocera. Gary was an avid golfer and horseracing enthusiast who created memorable holiday traditions enjoyed by his family. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. July 31, with a gathering one hour before the service at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N. Tanque Verde Loop Rd., Tucson, AZ 85748. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Gary’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project. To donate online: woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
