Mr. Davies also taught Social Studies at Townsend Jr. High in Tucson, and was my World Geography teacher in 1973-1974. He was an outstanding, dedicated instructor with an encyclopedic knowledge of history and world cultures. Honestly, he was one of the toughest teachers I ever had; but he kept me interested and challenged, and I have thought of him throughout the years. Also, Mr. Davies was a true humanitarian.
