Obituary of Julie Marlene Parker
Julie Marlene Parker, 67, passed away May 18, 20221 at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson AZ. She was born June 27, 1953 to Dale and Marlene Barber in San Diego CA.
Julie attended Modesto High, Grace M Davis and Modesto Junior College. She married her college sweetheart Danny Parker July 11, 1976 and was close to celebrating 45 years of marriage. Julie and Danny had 2 daughters, Danell and Jennifer and Julie was a mom and homemaker while her husband was in the military. They later settled in CA where Julie ran an in home daycare center and was known as Aunt Julie for the many children she cared for during her 16 years in business.
One of Julies biggest joys was being a grandma to her 3 grandsons and well as honorary grandma to many others. Julie loved bowling and participated in many tournaments in CA and NV. She loved to play cards and other games with family and friends and loved to have people to her home for fun and fellowship. She was a Lioness with the Turlock Lions Club and also volunteered with the youth group for many years at north Modesto Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Randy Nastrom, and her nephew Brandon Kaminska. She is survived by her spouse Danny Parker, Daughter Danell Daniels, Son in law Richard Daniels, grandsons Caleb, Noah and Logan Daniels, Daughter Jennifer Parker, Sister Laurie Windsor, Bother Ricky Nastrom, Brother Jamey Nastrom, sister in law Kin=m Nastrom, Niece Bailey Nastrom, Nephew Levi Nastrom and step mom Karen Barber.
